Isn't he adorable! This photo was taken at the begining of the hols, Jack was playing at his girlfriend Leah's house . They have really started to interact now and they are so funny together. ( will ask before I post a pic of baby Leah)

Still Here!

I've been AWOL for a few days again for a couple of reasons :(
1. The house is STILL dusty and it's driving me mad now Arrrggggghh.
2. The slip disk at the top of my back is extremely sore again Wimppppp
3. I can only clean for a while and then have to rest Arrrrrggghhhh

Ok moan over :lol:
It's been pouring here all day and guess who forgot to bring in the washing yesterday evening? My sunlounge looks like a launderette :lol:
My big sis and I sat in Kelvingrove park yesterday and blethered for Scotland, we haven't been there for years and it was so relaxing and just what I needed for an hour :) I say BIG sis but she's only five feet one and half my size :lol:
I'm off now for a scout around the craft sites before bed.....night night

AHHHHHH!!!

Had a great day catching up with my BF Fee, Izzy and Sandra. I know I was away only 1 week BUT a lot can happen in 7 days :LOL:.... AND........Fee had new Christmas papers from My Mind's Eye which I NEEDED !!! happy days :lol:
Blair starts back to school on Tuesday :( I've always missed the kids when the hols are finished, everyone tells me I'm strange :LOL:

Honey . . .I'm Home . . .

After a good week in St. Andrews :) The weather wasn't great but we were lucky and weren't kept in at all. Baby Jack had a high temp from monday evening and was a bit unsettled for a few nights (sorry neighbours) but had a great time at the beach and loved getting his feet wet and crawling in the water.
We came back to more dust everywhere!!! So the cleaning started again :(:(

WOOHOO!!!

At last the plumbers, tilers, joiners and plasterers are finished!!! I can't tell you how pleased i am with the result. It's FAB! Only problem is the mess left behind...not by the tradesmen, by the plaster dust EVERYWHERE!!! :(:( Anyhoo, it will keep settling for a few days so lots of cleaning expected :sigh:
Maybe after everything is tidied I may even get some scrapping done, now wouldn't that be a novelty :lol:

The Mayhem Continues...

Day 2 in the saga of " the new bathroom " !!!
The walls have been boarded and skimmed....the bath is in place....the house is covered in plaster dust AGAIN!!!
Someone, in a moment of madness cleaned, hoovered and dusted everywhere downstairs this morning..........have a guess.........YES...... all covered in plaster dust yet again by 5pm :(:(:(
Tomorrow the floor will be laid and the bath boxed in. New door and floor tiles are next and hopefully much less dust!!!

Who Wanted A New bathroom???

OMG!!! What started off as simply a new bathroom has become a much larger job. Once the old tiles were removed, the plaster crumbled on every wall !! The plaster dust is everywhere and guess who didn't close their craftroom or bedroom doors???? Our poor plumbers are choking as I type this and should have been wearing masks but didn't expect a dust storm.
The work won't be finished till Friday now and we go off to St Andrews on Saturday morning .Thankfully Craig and Storm will be at home incase anything unforseen happens.
