I HAVEN'T LEFT THE COUNTRY......

and to prove it I even have some crafty stuff to blog !!!
Due to life getting in the way I have badly neglected my blogee :(

It's not all been doom and gloom though as I managed to fit in a trip to Disneyland Paris in February. We had a great time and DGS Jack had a ball this year as he can now walk/run... and LOVES Mickey Mouse......I wonder who he gets that from :D :D

I made this little book ( using my trusty BIA ) for Jack with photos of our trip to DLP last year, it isn't my usual style as it had to be quite simple and easy to follow. He LOVES it :D :D
Please excuse the photos they are a bit blurry, I was in a hurry to take them before dinner :D

ANNIVERSARY.....

Alan and I are celebrating 26 years of marriage today. I can't believe how quickly the years have passed and I couldn't imagine life without him, he is my rock.
He can be a pain at times and is oblivious to everything when football is on tv AND don't get me started on channel hopping or snoring or man flu or ................

Updates.....

I haven't posted for ages due to still being unwell with CD etc :(

I was at a scrapbooking weekend in Perthshire from 22nd to 25th Jan. It was supposed to be till the 24th but unfortunately I became more unwell at the weekend and had to stay another night (as I was too unwell to drive) which would have been lovely in other circumstances.

I was there with 5 of my good friends and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we've booked the cottages again in October :)

I did manage to work on a couple of things at the weekend...I covered a chipboard 8x8 album with Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses papers, covered most of the inner pages, cropped the photos and made a start on embellishing the cover. Next I covered a Bo Bunny "Home" chipboard book with MME Colourful Christmas range and it's now ready for the photos too. :)

The other girls were more productive ( as usual )and we all were extremely envious (jealous)of Hazels scrapping room LOL Not that she has much spare time as she is very busy working on the farm with her horses and rescue ponies.

I Need A New Body !!!

Have been MIA with a bad back, very sore legs and now I have a cold! I tell you, better horses have been shot! LOL

Anyhooo, all being well I'm off to a 12 hour crop on Saturday at The Papercraft Company (otherwise known as FEE'S) in Alexandria, really looking forward to scrapping and chatting with friends AND making final arrangements for our weekend retreat the following week :D I have promised myself that I will NOT take too much stash with me............haha who am I trying to kid LOL
I've been working a little bit on my MME calendar and trying to organise my craft room, that's taking much longer than I had planned as I can't bend to pick things up or stretch to put things on shelves LOL
off now for a little blog hopping.

TO START THE YEAR OFF........

I've started on my MME calendar....BUT... shock horror.... I've only completed January LOL. February is nearly finished (only to iron some ribbon) and I gave up on March as I didn't have the stash needed when I was scrapping with my BF Fee on Monday.
The rest of the week has found me "spring cleaning" ... I know it's not spring and it certainly doesn't feel like spring but the weather has been so cold and icy that I really didn't want to drive much at all ( last night the mercury plummeted to -10 and due to be even lower tonight!! )so there was nothing else for it, I had to do some housework!! YUK !!
Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'm off to the sale at The Papercraft Company, in a "helping" capacity of course... cough LOL

Let's pray for a peaceful year with lots of super weather, only raining at night and NO wet summer LOL
I haven't made any new year resolutions but do have a few things I'd like to achieve in the coming months. I'll be making a list later ( my sister always says I have lists for my lists LOL).
